Biography

Dr. Sheila H. Forman is a clinical psychologist and certified group psychotherapist providing individual and group teletherapy sessions for adults needing help with anxiety, depression, and eating-related issues. A former practicing attorney, Dr. Forman consults on legal and ethical issues for mental health professionals and teaches forensic psychology, abnormal psychology, clinical psychology, ethics and law, group therapy and other subjects to undergraduate and graduate students online and in person. Dr. Forman was the chair of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association’s Media Committee and continues to do interviews for radio, TV, and print outlets. In addition, Dr. Forman is the author of three self-help books and does mindful eating coaching. Her new book TAME Your Appetite: The Art of Mindful Eating will be available in spring 2022.
