Visit Our Collaborative, Online Classes

Schedule a visit and experience firsthand one of the many live classes offered through GSEP. To inquire about visiting a first-term, live class, please reach out to your admissions counselor or email our admissions team at admissions@onlinepsych.pepperdine.edu. Some of the classes you may have the opportunity to visit include:

Theories of Counseling and Psychotherapy

This course examines the key assumptions of various applied theories, the role of the therapeutic relationship, and the goals and strategies for effecting change. Each theory is examined for its cross-cultural application.

Ethics and Law for Mental Health Professionals

This course considers ethical standards for therapists and reviews legal issues that influence the professional practice of marriage and family therapy and psychotherapy.

Research and Evaluation Methods for Mental Health Professionals

This course covers basic concepts in statistics, research design, and program evaluation for mental health professionals. Emphasis is on methods for evaluating systemic and sociocultural influences on programs and clinical outcomes to inform evidence-based practice.

Please note, schedules are limited. Prioritization will be given to those the furthest along in the application process.
