Biography
Dr. Randi Melvin-Brown received her PhD in applied behavior analysis (ABA) with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology under the advisement of Dr. Yors Garcia in 2021. She earned her master’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in ABA from Kaplan University in 2015. Dr. Melvin-Brown is a board certified behavior analyst- doctoral and a licensed behavior analyst in the state of Nevada. Her research interests include acceptance and commitment therapy, verbal behavior, staff performance, and functional living skills. Dr. Melvin-Brown has several years of experience in clinical work across multiple settings and populations. She has provided services using in-home ABA support for children and adolescents affected by autism spectrum disorder. She has extensive experience with adults living in residential settings with dual diagnoses. She has also worked in locked psychiatric facilities and has aided clients in stepping down to residential settings. Dr. Melvin-Brown currently runs a private practice across northern and southern Nevada. Her practice focuses on support for adolescents and adults with dual diagnoses.
