Biography
A recognized leader in business and higher education, Dr. Natalie V. Nagthall is the founder and principal consultant for N2V Consulting, Inc., a boutique global consulting firm that provides equity-centered strategic and professional development solutions. She also works for the Foundation for California Community Colleges as a Guided Pathways lead regional coordinator, coaching community colleges in the Los Angeles, Orange County, and South Central regions. Dr. Nagthall’s specialties include: professional development, innovative pedagogies including culturally relevant instruction, anti-racist education, curriculum design, and workshop development.
The Brooklyn, New York native earned a BS in Marketing and Logistics/Transportation from the University of Maryland, College Park and MA in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Nagthall earned her EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership at the University of Southern California, Rossier School of Education. Her dissertation explores the use of culturally relevant instructional practices in STEM under the title, “(Re)Imagining STEM Instruction: An Examination of Culturally Relevant Andragogical Practices to Eliminate STEM Inequities Among Historically Minoritized Students in Community Colleges.” In addition, Dr. Nagthall is a graduate of the Los Angeles African American Women’s Public Policy Institute (LAAAWPPI) and the African American Board Leadership Institute (AABLI).
During her free time, Dr. Nagthall enjoys binge-watching shows and movies, entertaining, and traveling, especially to Italy.
