Biography

Dr. Monica Blied is a California-based clinical psychologist, wife, mother of three, Lupus warrior, and the founder of Faces of Health Wellness Center in Claremont, California. Specializing in providing integrative care to adults with chronic medical illnesses, Dr. Blied has expertise in the mind-body health connection. She also provides psychological assessments for ADHD and autism for both teens and young adults. In her former role as the program manager for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, at the VA Loma Linda Medical Center, Dr. Blied trained medical staff in motivational interviewing techniques and helped physicians to optimize their patient outcomes by improving their patient-centered communication skills and engagement in the “whole-health” system. Dr. Blied now brings together her wealth of professional expertise as a health psychologist and her lived experiences as a lupus patient to support clinicians in the medical and mental health fields. Her aim is to help us learn how to restore our mind-brain-body-spirit and community health—our “whole health.” Get to know Dr. Blied more on her website at www.drblied.com or on social media @dr.blied.
