Biography

Dr. Margarita Abramov is a licensed psychologist as well as a registered nurse in the state of California. Her combined experience working in healthcare is over 28 years. Dr. Abramov is a certified clinical trauma professional and a trained pain psychologist. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and International Association of Trauma Professionals. Her specialty is chronic pain management, trauma and related emotional problems, grief, depressive and anxiety disorders, life transitions, and existential issues.

She is also an adjunct professor at Notre Dame de Namur University where she teaches courses on neurophysiology/psychopharmacology, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma and resilience, and theory of child and adult psychotherapy to graduate level students.
