Biography

Published author, certified counselor, mental health advocate, entrepreneur and military reservist, Ariel Shivers-McGrew possesses the ability to show up with authenticity, vulnerability, and courage. Her unrelenting passion and commitment to empower others to drive important social initiatives forward with agility and focus makes her a sought-after leader in many arenas. As the founder of Tactful Disruption®, Shivers-McGrew is a scholarly practitioner who is on a mission to “boldly edit workplace italics.” Shivers-McGrew is a PhD candidate in business psychology and holds an MA in clinical mental health counseling. She is also a licensed professional counselor, a qualified mental health professional, and certified nonprofit professional.
