Students are encouraged to pursue a range of tuition and financial aid options as they explore earning their degree from Pepperdine University. Estimated tuition costs for the 2024–2025 academic year are as follows:

The cost of tuition does not include out-of-pocket expenses such as books, additional course materials, background checks, exams, or other fees. When you submit your application, you will be asked to pay the $55 application fee. 

Both the online Master of Science in Education and online Master of Arts in Teaching require you  to pay a $250 nonrefundable deposit to reserve your place in the program. This $250 deposit will be applied toward your total tuition fees in your first term of enrollment. 

In addition, a mandatory wellness fee will be applied each term and cannot be waived. All students are encouraged to have health insurance; they are not required to provide proof. 

Tuition and fees are subject to change. A moderate tuition increase should be expected each year.

Financial Aid

  • U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply for federal financial aid through the U.S. Department of Education. To apply for federal student aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA code for Pepperdine University is 001264.

  • Many employers offer tuition benefits, including tuition reimbursement and low-cost loans. Check with your manager or human resources team regarding tuition assistance.

  • Veterans, service members, and qualified family members can access educational assistance through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

  • For additional financial assistance, research other education loan lenders to determine if a private loan is best for your situation.
