Biography
Patrick Frawley, Psy.D. is an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University. He earned his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology – Washington, D.C. in 2019. Throughout his career Dr. Frawley has worked in a variety of academic, community, private, and public sector settings, including correctional facilities, community mental health, rehabilitation centers, and chemical dependency treatment programs serving diverse populations, including individuals, couples, and LGBTQIAQ. He has led group therapy sessions with adults dealing with substance abuse/co-occurring disorders, harmful sexual behaviors, trauma, SPMI, and legal competency. Further, he has a range of experience including identity and orientation, depression, anxiety, anger management, co-occurring disorders, Schizophrenia, personality disorders, risk assessment (suicide and violence), TBI, neuropsychological and psychological assessment, and forensic psychology. His teaching interests include abnormal psychology, assessment, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy.
