Biography
Dr. Maegan Pisman received her doctorate in applied behavior analysis at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska (2018). During her doctoral program, she worked at the Munroe-Meyer Institute in the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders and Pediatric Feeding Disorders Clinic. Pisman specialized in providing comprehensive ABA services using a telehealth model and collaborated on the development and growth of a hybrid program for individuals with feeding disorders and learning deficits. She earned her master’s degree in human services–applied behavior analysis at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in Baltimore, Maryland (2014). During her master’s program, she worked in the Inpatient Neurobehavioral Unit at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, where she provided intensive assessment and treatment of severe challenging behaviors. Her primary interests are in the assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors, childhood sleep disturbances, and parent-child interactions. Pisman is a member of multiple associations within behavior analysis, and she continues to present at conferences and via webinars.
