Biography

Dr. Sarah Lyndon is very excited to be joining the Pepperdine Faculty. She is a licensed psychologist at Western Youth Services (WYS) and the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Center of Orange County. In her role at WYS, Dr. Lyndon has had the opportunity to provide training and support to the WYS American Psychological Association (APA) accredited Doctoral Internship Program. She has been practicing in the field of psychology for the past 10 years, working in a variety of settings, including schools, partial-hospitalization programs, group practices, and community mental health centers. Her work has focused on treating and psychologically testing high-risk children, adolescents, and families with mental illness and trauma. Dr. Lyndon graduated from The American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in 2016 with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Concentration in Child and Adolescent Psychology.

Dr. Lyndon is passionate about the work she does and strives to provide the skills needed to better understand the mind/body connection and the importance of active self-care. Her hope, aligning with the DBT philosophy, is to support others on their path to a life worth living. She is looking forward to expanding her love of learning and teaching to Pepperdine University.
