Merry Lambert earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology in 2006. As a former social worker, she often led support groups which motivated her to pursue graduate school. She launched her private practice in January of 2009 as an intern under supervision, six months prior to becoming an LMFT in July of 2009. In 2011, she established a thriving private home office in Woodland Hills, California. Currently she provides psychotherapy for a varied population of adults, adolescents, and couples predominantly using psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral orientations. Her areas of specialty include but are not limited to interpersonal relationships, depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, marital separation/divorce, ADHD, loss/grief, and trauma. She has also been a clinical supervisor for AMFTs and continues to provide guidance and support for LMFTs in her private practice. Teaching and clinical supervision for individuals and groups have been Professor Lambert’s longtime ambition.
