Biography
Dr. Krystle Madrid is a licensed clinical psychologist and received her PsyD from Pepperdine University. She completed an APA clinical internship through the Center for Multicultural Mental Health from Boston University School of Medicine.
She furthered her training through a postdoctoral APA fellowship in assertive community treatment/corrections psychosocial rehabilitation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She has an extensive background treating diverse populations in community mental health, correctional facilities, and medical settings.
Currently, Dr. Madrid is the director of the Los Angeles Fire Department Behavioral Health Program, where she specializes in providing empirically supported and behaviorally based treatments including CBT, DBT, ACT, and TF-CBT. She provides on-call emergency response, conducts critical incident debriefings, and is responsible for management consultation and training for sworn employees.
Dr. Madrid’s evaluations and treatment are centered on helping individuals live their best possible life.
