Dr. Kaori Nepo is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with the doctoral designation. She received her Master’s of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under Dr. Phil Hineline and Ph.D. in Special Education under Dr. Matthew Tincani from Temple University.  Dr. Nepo has worked in the field of behavior analysis for over 20 years as a therapist, consultant, researcher, and university faculty.   Through her extensive clinical experience, she has supported numerous individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disability (IDD) as well as their families and educators. 

Dr. Nepo specializes in the use of commonly available technology in interventions for individuals with IDD.  She has presented her research and clinical experience at local, national, and international conferences and has multiple publications in this area.  She has collaborated on research projects with Temple University, Capella University, and University of Delaware. 

Additionally, Dr. Nepo has held leadership roles at the state and international levels in her field.  She has served on the board of Delaware Association for Behavior Analysis to promote the science of behavior and support practitioners in the state of Delaware as well as in the surrounding states. She has also organized the translation of ABA terms to Japanese and coordinated a Japanese online program to educate Japanese students who seek certification.
