Biography
Angela Persicke is an Adjunct Faculty in the Master of Science in Behavioral Psychology program at Pepperdine University. She obtained her certification in behavior analysis in 2011 through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) and has worked for over 10 years as a researcher and clinician specializing in the treatment of individuals with autism and related disorders. Angela has published several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters focused on autism treatment and evaluation. Her research interests include teaching complex cognitive skills to individuals with autism, such as perspective taking, understanding non-literal language, as well as behavior analytic perspectives on advanced language, cognitive skills, and prosocial behaviors, such as empathy and compassion.
