Biography

Alexis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has a passion for working with couples. She is trained in the Gottman method and uses this when working with most couples. She obtained her BA in Psychology from California State University, Chico while also receiving minors in Child Development, Gender and Sexuality, and Family Relations. Following this, she attended Pepperdine University where she received her MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Through her training and years of experience, she has valued her time working to improve family dynamics as well as strengthening couples relationships. Alexis believes she is the clinician that she is due to receiving her education at Pepperdine, which motivates her to be a great educator to her students.
