Biography

Rachel Daggett is a licensed MFT in the state of California. She currently owns a private practice in Hermosa Beach, but as of February 2020, she will be based out of San Clemente in South Orange County. Rachel specializes in treating teens and adults with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. She is a strong believer in therapy and healing occurring both “in the room” and “outside the box,” whether that be through art, dance, water and nature, or body movement. She has her 200-hour yoga training certificate and utilizes her knowledge of mindful movement and meditation in her psychotherapy practice.

Aside from her private practice, Rachel is involved in various efforts to raise awareness and provide needed services and education to the community and those in need. She currently serves as president of the South Bay Eating Disorder Coalition, leading a group of passionate eating disorder professionals in providing support and education around eating disorders and mental health to professionals, clients, and family members. She sits on the Healthcare Advisory Board of The Jimmy Miller Foundation, where she helps to lead groups of at-risk youth and veterans in experiential ocean and surf therapy on the beaches of LA and OC.
