All course work and clinical experiences are designed to meet American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) requirements, preparing you for the Praxis Exam and licensure.

A Robust, Innovative Curriculum

Our 53-credit curriculum is designed to develop skilled, compassionate speech-language pathologists who are not only experts in the field, but are committed to serving and leading in their local communities. Course work covers the breadth and depth of speech-language pathology as it is applied to the prevention, identification, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders.

  • Explore in-depth topics across the lifespan and continuum of care.
  • Complete an evidence-based practice portfolio and a professionalism portfolio.
  • Develop the skills to assess and treat a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders.

Depending upon prior course work, students may be required to complete the foundational courses before beginning the program. Most students with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders will already have completed the required courses.
