Biography

Randi C. Melvin received her master’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis (ABA) from Kaplan University. She is a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) and a licensed behavior analyst (LBA) in the state of Nevada. She is currently completing her PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP) under the advisement of Dr. Yors Garcia. Her research interests include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), verbal behavior, staff performance, and functional living skills.

Randi has several years of experience in clinical work across multiple settings and populations. She has provided services using in-home ABA supports for children and adolescents affected by autism spectrum disorder. She has extensive experience with adults living in residential settings with dual diagnoses. She has also worked in locked psychiatric facilities and has aided clients in stepping down to residential settings.
