Technology Requirements
As an online student, it is vital that your technology meets the following standards for the optimal student learning experience:
Computer
- At least 4GB RAM (8 RAM ideal)
- 2Ghz Dual Core or Faster Processor
- Touch-screen laptops or laptop/tablet hybrids (Chromebooks and Tablets are not compatible with program requirements)
Mac Users: OS X 10.9 or higher
PC Users: Windows 7 or higher
Browsers
- Please download Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and make sure they stay updated to the most recent version. They are the only two browsers that are fully compatible with WaveNet and Digital Campus.
- Please note that Apple Safari and Microsoft Edge are not supported.
- Ensure that browsers settings are updated at the start of each session
Audio and Webcam
- Headset or headphones with speakers and microphone
- Internal or external webcam
Internet connection
- Hardwired (Ethernet) internet connection (not Wi-Fi)
- Speeds no less than 10 MB/S for download and 5 MB/S upload
